“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart,
and you will find rest for your souls.
For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
Matthew 11: 28-30

This promises to be a fun and educational weekend. The riders are energetic and ready to share what they've been learning about riding a bike for many miles a day and about the need of affordable housing in the US.
Join us! You'll be glad you did!

Wednesday Worship

11:00 am Holy Eucharist

This week we commemorate Jonathan Myrick Daniels, Martyr, 1965
"When Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. issued his nationwide call in 1965 for clergy of all faiths to come to Selma, Ala., to support voting rights marchers, Jonathan Daniels, a 26-year-old white Episcopal seminary student from Massachusetts, heeded the call." (Southern Poverty Law Center)

The Jonathan Daniels Pilgrimage takes place in Hayneville, Lowndes County, Alabama. It is organized by the Diocese of Alabama and the Diocese of Central Gulf Coast. Over its 22 years, the pilgrimage has grown into one of the most recognized pilgrimages of our Church, bringing people from many dioceses and seminaries across the country to the spot where Daniels, an Episcopal seminarian from Keene, New Hampshire, was shot to death in August 1965 trying to protect an African-American teenage girl. The event is held annually on the second Saturday of August.
